At Idurus Development, we understand that peace is essential for sustainable development and the well-being of communities. Our Peace Building Program is dedicated to promoting harmony, resolving conflicts, and fostering a culture of peace among diverse groups in Northern Kenya and Ethiopia. By addressing the root causes of conflict and encouraging dialogue, we aim to build resilient communities that can coexist peacefully.
Our comprehensive approach to peace building involves conflict resolution and mediation services, peace education workshops, and community dialogues. We work closely with community leaders, stakeholders, and local organizations to facilitate dialogue, promote understanding, and find mutually beneficial solutions. Additionally, we provide support to displaced persons and those impacted by conflict, helping them rebuild their lives and reintegrate peacefully into their communities.
By empowering youth and women through leadership training and advocacy, we ensure diverse perspectives are included in our peace processes, contributing to more inclusive and effective peace building efforts.

Our Peace Building Program has made significant strides in promoting harmony and resolving conflicts. Here are a few examples of our impact:
- Community Reconciliation: Through our mediation efforts, two neighboring communities resolved a long-standing conflict over land, resulting in a signed agreement and renewed cooperation.
